California QDRO Attorneys

Your QDRO will be drafted by a licensed California attorney and will be customized to your specific case and your needs. We will ensure that the QDRO is consistent with the judgment of dissolution and/or agreement of the parties.

Each QDRO is carefully drafted to be accepted by both the retirement plan administrator and the court.

We ensure that each QDRO is pre-approved by the plan adminsitrator prior to court filing (for any plan administrator that offers pre-approval services).

Our QDRO Preparation Services include court filing (subject to obtaining the parties’ signatures) and submission of the court executed QDROs to the plan administrator for approval and processing. We ensure that that the QDRO is approved and accepted by the Plan Administrator for you.

For cases where we only represent one party, if the opposing party refuses to sign the QDRO, we provide clients with a sample motion that can be utilized to ask the court to sign the QDRO on behalf of the uncooperative party (elisor motion). We do not make any court appearances.
