$850 Flat Fee QDRO Preparation for all plans except FERS/CSRS, Military, Combination or Posthumous QDROs. This service includes court filing (subject to receipt of the parties’ signatures) and submission to the plan administrator.

The stated fee is per QDRO – i.e. $850 for one QDRO, $1,700 for two QDROs, $2,550 for three QDROs and so forth.

We can either be retained jointly by both parties to the case as a neutral QDRO preparer or can be retained solely by one of the parties.

This service applies to FERS/CSRS, Military, Posthumous, or Combination QDROs/Court Orders. A Combination QDRO divides more than one retirement plan with the same employer. This is very uncommon; a separate QDRO is usually required for each retirement plan being divided. Please confirm with QDRO Helper before retaining services for a Combination QDRO. A Posthumous QDRO is for cases where the plan administrator will accept a QDRO after the death of one of the parties to the divorce or legal separation case. $200 Flat Fee per Joinder. Some retirement plans (typically city, county and state government plans) require a joinder before they will honor a QDRO. We provide California joinder services for any plan that requires a joinder. Joinder services are only offered in conjunction with QDRO preparation services.

$700 Deposit per QDRO to be Reviewed. QDRO Helper can review QDROs prepared by other attorneys or law firms. Services are billed at the hourly rate of $350 with a minimum 2 hour charge per QDRO being reviewed.
