$500 Flat Fee QDRO Preparation

Since QDRO preparation is usually one of the last steps in a divorce after the division of assets has been agreed upon, most of our clients can take advantage of our $500 Flat Fee service. View our fee schedule.

We put each Order into a court accepted format and ensure that the QDRO has been pre- approved by the retirement plan administrator (whenever pre-approval is possible). We give our clients peace of mind that their QDRO will be accepted both by the retirement plan and the court.  Read more about the QDRO process or view our forms to start your Order today.

Please note that the $500 Flat Fee service is only appropriate when the parties have a written agreement regarding the division of the retirement plan.  If you do not have an agreement, the Hourly Fee QDRO is a great choice.  If you are not sure which service is best for you, call 619-786-7376 and our staff will help you understand your options.

QDRO Review & MSAs

In addition to our most popular $500 Flat Fee service, we also offer QDRO Review and Marital Settlement Agreement Drafting services at very reasonable rates.

QDRO Review. If your former spouse had their attorney draft a QDRO and you want to be sure it is fair, our attorneys can review the Qualified Domestic Relations Order, explain it to you, and request changes on your behalf.  We will review the QDRO as your advocate and look out for your best interest.

MSA Language.  If you are an individual writing your own Marital Settlement Agreement, or an attorney who is not comfortable with retirement plan language, we can assist you in drafting your Agreement to address retirement assets.  We ensure that often overlooked issues like survivor benefits, loans, gains and losses, and cost of living adjustments (COLAs) are addressed.
